On Monday evening, we had Lucy from the BBC online and social media who came along to one of our very soggy evening after work swims. She was warned to wear her wellies and bring a brolly!
The Mermaids, along with some lovely HOWSC friends sloshed up the bank and swooshed down with the flow - Lucy had to run to keep up with us!
On Thursday 19th March, Jo, Joan & Laura will be on BBC radio Oxford breakfast programme to chat about the Channel and swimming adventures, as well as Henley Music School.
Laura will be on Channel 4, at 8pm on Thursday 26th March, as part of a programme called "How to Beat" and how cold water swimming helps ailments, pain and general well-being.

The river seems to be warming up now, and today is 8 degrees! We are all really looking forward to longer summer swims in the river, rather than the awful chlorine of the pool.
